Ear Tippin’ Tuesday is Here! – Registration is now closed
On October 23, 2018, in celebration of National Feral Cat Day, Dr. Leslie Dahl of Southwest Animal Care Center and Triple R Pets will host a low-cost spay/neuter for feral cats. To participate, you must be a registered Colony Caretaker with Triple R Pets or another Sponsor of the Cook County Managed Feral Cat Ordinance.
Online registration is quick and easy but must be completed by Sunday, October 21, 2018 by 5:00 pm cst.
For $25 your feral cat will receive:
- Spay/Neuter surgery with 24-hour pain management
- Identifying feral ear-tip
- 1 year Rabies vaccination
- Distemper vaccination
- Revolution application for flea and parasite control
- Microchip registered to Triple R Pets
- FIV/FeLV Test
If other services are required, there may be additional charges (for example, $12 CapStar for cats loaded for fleas or $45 injectable convenia for serious infections).
Requirements:
- You must be a Feral Cat Colony Cat Caretaker registered with an approved Cook County TNR Sponsor
- You must register by Sunday, October 21, 2018 by 5:00 pm cst.
- There are limited surgery slots assigned on a first come, first given basis. Registration will close after the limit is hit!
- There is no limit of cats per colony Caretaker, but only one cat per trap.
- Kittens must weigh 2 pounds and be 8 weeks or older.
- Cats must be feral and arrive in a covered wire trap with the name and phone number of the Caretaker and the name of
the cat firmly taped to the trap. - This day is for feral cats only, no owned or house cats.
