Volunteering: General Information

You must have the following shots to deploy with us: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus. Rabies vaccination is also highly recommended. We also ask all volunteers to take the following independent study FEMA courses: IS-100, IS-200, and IS-700. The courses are free and can be found online here.

Not all volunteer opportunities require you to travel to a disaster area. Backend coordination from our office in Chicago is a crucial component to making sure our operations run smooth. Besides disaster services, Triple R Pets runs a TNR program in Southwest Chicago. Volunteers are always needed for this project and more information can be found on the Volunteer Opportunities link above.
